INTEGRAL BLADE
STABILIZERS
For reliable stabilization and performance under the most severe
drilling conditions. OSS integral blade stabilizer has the
following features:
- Manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated 4145H
modified alloy steels.
- Solid, one-piece mandrel with deep spiral grooves
machined between blades to allow for maximum mud circulation and wall
contact.
- Long fishing and tong neck for tool joint recuts
and
easy redressing for Geothermal hardfacing.
- Wide blades and long wall contact to increase wear
resistance and wall contact.
- Are available in either Near Bit or String
configurations.
- Connections are cold-rolled, phosphatized, coated
and
protected with thread protectors.
- Connections are gauged to API Spec. Q1 Standards.

WELDED BLADE

stabilization in soft to medium-hard formations. OSS
integral blade stabilizer has the following features:
- Manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated
4145H modified alloy steels.
- Oversized bodies are turned to eliminate
surface cracks and scale
- Blades are pre-and post-heated to assure
adequate weld penetration.
- Bodies are ultrasonically and magnetic
particle
inspected to insure integrity
- Connections are cold-rolled, phosphatized,
coated and
protected with thread protectors.
- Connections are gauged to API Spec. Q1
Standards.
